Replaces part on EGR: A6421402708

Engine: OM642 V6 3.0 cdi

To confirm compatibility, make sure your vin uses this part number at your local Mercedes dealer.

This kit includes one 6mm stainless steel blanking plate to to block off the EGR flow.

By closing off one side of the EGR Valve, you can keep all the original factory parts in place. This maintains a completely stock look under the bonnet, and you won’t need to bypass any of the EGR parts.

Installation Info:

  • Fitment: The plate fits on the intake manifold side, and directly replaces a part, making for an easy install.
  • Gaskets: Gaskets are not included. The factory metal gaskets are highly durable and almost always reusable if handled carefully during removal.
  • DIY: Designed for straightforward installation if you are handy with basic tools and have a general understanding of mechanics.
  • Cape Town Fitment: If you prefer professional installation, we offer fitment at our workshop in Cape Town. Please contact us directly for pricing and booking availability.

⚠️ Note:

  • An ECU software adjustment (EGR delete) is required immediately after fitting this kit. If you do not disable the system in the software, it will trigger the check engine light and may put the vehicle into limp mode.
