Description

EGR Blanking Kit, fits 1,2 TDI CFW Engine.

This kit includes the two 2mm blanking plates to close off the EGR ports against the intake manifold and the head and a pipe to bypass the EGR Cooler, with clamps.

By closing off the EGR flow, you can keep all the original factory parts in place. This maintains a completely stock look under the bonnet, and with the fitment of the supplied hose, you bypass the EGR cooler which are prone to internal coolant leaks.

  • Volkswagen Polo Mk5 (6R) 1.2 TDI BlueMotion 2010-2015

Installation Info:

  • Fitment: EGR plates fits against the intake manifold and the head and a pipe to bypass the EGR Cooler, with clamps. The pipe gets fitted as a loop for the coolant pipes that is located on the side of the engine which feeds the EGR cooler.
  • Gaskets: Gaskets are not included. The factory metal gaskets are highly durable and almost always reusable if handled carefully during removal.
  • DIY: Designed for straightforward installation if you are handy with basic tools and have a general understanding of mechanics.
  • Cape Town Fitment: If you prefer professional installation, we offer fitment at our workshop in Cape Town. Please contact us directly for pricing and booking availability.

⚠️ Note:

  • An ECU software adjustment (EGR delete) is required immediately after fitting this kit. If you do not disable the system in the software, it will trigger the check engine light and may put the vehicle into limp mode.
